A majority of cleaners have ton ingredients and chemicals that you can barely pronounce, but there is one clean soap that can be used virtually anywhere. You might have heard about Dr. Bronner’s Pure Castile Soap or seen it in stores, but this cleaner is versatile with 18 different uses .This product is passed down to each generation of the Bronner family and DR. Emanuel Bronner’s granddaughter, Lisa Bronner, gives tips on using this miracle product.

This castile soap can be used in various household chores, including washing the dishes (dilute 1 part soap with 10 parts water). You can also use this product for mopping solution with ½ cup combined with 2 gallons of hot water.

An all-purpose cleaning spray is mixing ¼ cup of soap with a quart of water or in a spray bottle that can also be used to clean your toilet. You can also create a window cleaner using 1 tablespoon of soap combined with 1quart of water in a spray bottle using a squeegee and follow up with half vinegar/half water, then squeegee off for dazzling windows.

This castile soap can also be used in laundry using ½ cup of soap as a detergent for cleaner and fresher smelling clothes. You can also use Dr. Bronner’s as a detergent for handwashing delicates using 1 capful of soap per gallon of cold water, soak for 10 minutes, then layout or hang to dry.

To give you fresh produce a thorough rinse, you can use a dash of Dr. Bronner’s in a bowl of water to rinse your produce. This soap is so gentle that you can even wash your dog using enough soap into a good lather and rinse down for a clean pooch.

Dr. Bronner’s can also help get rid of pesky pests with a plant spray to deter bugs by mixing 1 tablespoon of soap with 1 quart of water(options: add a touch of cinnamon or cayenne pepper) then spray plants twice daily until the pests have evacuated. If you have an ant problem, you can create an anti-ant spray consisting of ¼ cup of castile soap (Tea Tree scented)with a quart of water but be careful using near plants as this concentration will burn plants.

Dr. Bronner’s castile soap has a clean formula that can be used as a body product as a face wash, body wash, makeup remover, hair wash, bubble bath, shaving, foot bath, and even used a toothpaste. My personal favorite use is for clearing congestion that also steams the pores using 1tablespoon of Peppermint or Eucalyptus castle soap in a bowl of steamy hot water, drape a towel over your head while holding your face above the water for your own personal steam session.
